Membership

$225 per month

In a direct care practice, patients typically pay a membership fee directly to the healthcare provider in exchange for ENHANCED access to services. This model aims to create a more direct and personalized relationship between patients and healthcare providers, but removing the restrictions placed by the insurance company.

Here are the Benefits of our Membership:

1. Convenient un-rushed Appointments: We prioritize your health and time. You can choose in-person, virtual, or phone visits, as often as medically necessary. Whether you prefer face-to-face appointments or a quick phone call, we have an option to suit your needs. Our visits are generally 30-60 minutes long.

2. Priority Scheduling: As a member, if you have an urgent issue, we offer appointments in the same week. We know that some health concerns can’t be delayed, and we promise to provide prompt and efficient care. If an issue can be addressed without an appointment, we will do our best to save your precious time by utilizing telemedicine or a call as we are able. In addition, NO cancellation fees for missed visits.

3. Direct Communication: We believe that open communication is key to maintaining your well-being. As a member, you have direct access to Dr. George via secure patient portal messages and email.

4. Complimentary CGM/Pump Downloads,  and Training: We recognize the importance of monitoring and managing chronic conditions such as diabetes. We offer services like downloading data from continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps ($50 value) as well as training for CGMs ($100 value) at no extra charge, even if needed between visits.

5. Expedited Prior Authorization and Forms: Dealing with insurance systems is complex. We will handle your insurance prior authorizations (PAs), appeals, and other necessary forms without charging you extra. We understand that waiting for PAs can delay your care, so we will give priority to completing PAs in order to ensure you can get what is needed to improve your health.

6. No Long-term Commitment Required: We understand that your health needs can change, and we respect your choices. While we do require an initial 12-month commitment, the membership can be cancelled with a 30-day notice after that initial period. We encourage continuous membership for consistent, high-quality endocrine care tailored to you. Should you ever decide to rejoin after a break, please note that there will be a re-enrollment fee of $200.

7. InBody Composition: All our members will get unlimited body composition scans.

We only accept a limited number of members into our practice to maintain quality care. If you require more than one annual visit with Dr.George, a membership is required.
